Landa Fused Rotary Switches (ʎ)

Landa fused rotary switches (ʎ) can be disconnected under load and is produced in nominal currents of 160, 250, and 400 amps in accordance with international standards IEC 60947 and VDE 0660.

This switch is used to disconnect and connect ohmic, inductive, and capacitive loads such as transformers, AC electric motors, and capacitors.

As the only fused rotary switch with LED indicators, the Landa model switch, has special capabilities as follows in addition to the features available in the fused rotary switches:

Special benefits

LED indicators for disconnecting fuses at each phase:

Used LED bulbs mounted on an electronic kit are controlled by a special resistor and diode. These lamps are normally off and by burning the fuse and disconnecting the communication circuit between the input and output of each phase, the LED bulb of the same phase is turned on and thus the operator will be aware of the fuse disconnection of the relevant phase.

Fuse protective cover with easy and safe installation

The protective cover of the fuses is made of the best possible flame-resistant raw materials. This cover is sliding and easily placed on the switch, taking into account all safety issues.

High safety by installing isolators between each phase

The presence of a barrier (insulation) between phases R, S, and S, T provides permanently the possibility that if the protective cover of the fuses is not used, electrical communication between the phases will not be easily possible, and thus the short-circuit phase to phase will be prevented.

Impossibility to replace the fuse while connected due to installation of a cover guard lock

Using this protective lock, it will not be possible to replace the fuse in the electric mode, and in order to change the fuse, the operator must first disconnect the switch to release the protective lock and thus replace the fuse with complete safety.

Relocating the input and output platinum of phase T (third phase) for better installation of the ingot to the switch and increasing the contact level

Reducing power losses by increasing the contact surface of the involved platinum.

Using SMC materials in the structure of the moving arm of the switch to increase the mechanical strength
